Triumph

I haven't written anything much about Superman lately, mostly because I knew that a decision was coming about publication any day now. I've been working with the University Press of Mississippi, which was my first choice for this book, through the stages of peer review and editorial board approval--all of which has been mysterious to me.

I've excited to say that my book "Superman in Myth and Folklore" has been approved by the editorial board, and will be published by Mississippi.

There's still a lot of work to do, of course. It'll take a while before it's available, because I need to revise it one more time, and then there's copy editing, and indexing, and the whole thing needs to be designed, and the cover needs to be worked out, and probably a thousand things I don't know about because this is my first book and it's an academic book, which seems more complicated than a novel.
